Just have to vent...... so I open the hood of my truck to put in coolant and the blasted packrats have FILLED the entire left side of the engine compartment with dried mesquite beans! It is PACKED! They even plugged gaps and holes with sticks and pieces of dry manure. !@#&%$#!@*!@^#@!!(*&!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dixie Mom

ROTFLMAO!!!! I suppose it isn't really funny, but the picture that forms in my mind of you, picking beans and twigs and manure out of the car engine whilst cussing out packrats..... (snicker, giggle, snort).....

Fortunately the truck still starts. I found 2 wires chewed in half (hood light and I don't know what the other wire is for), so at least they hadn't cleaned out all the wiring yet. The air conditioner doesn't work and the dash vents don't work, so I imagine they are completely plugged up or chewed through. It'll probably catch on fire if I try to drive it, so my kids will have a project while I'm in Europe.
