My knee is still bad - I got a steroid shot into the joint last week to try to get it settled down enough to have a good trip. Doc says I'll probably need surgery when I get back. But it's one day at a time, and I'm sooooo looking forward to this trip.

Dixie's allergies seem to have settled down. I gave her the fourth allergy shot this morning, and hopefully she'll be good while I'm gone. So we're going for a ride today and then she'll get a good bath and skin treatment. At least the knee doesn't hurt when I ride. I told the doc he could do what ever he thought best, just as long as I can keep riding. :) They think I'm nuts.

See you all in a few weeks! I wish I could send each one of you a piece of Swiss chocolate, but I'll post a photo or two if I figure out how to use this doggone camera. :)
